As a young 71 year old man, who was born and raised in NYC, quite naturally I grew up in a vibrant, diverse music culture that thrived in the GREATEST City in the world, At 18, I full in love with JAZZ and it has been one of my life’s passions since. I just heard this album this morning on my long term radio station partner, WBGO and I immediately downloaded it into my ITunes library, my very first album by Mr. Beasley. This is big band jazz at it’s best!!!!
